Hey Family!

It's funny how throughout your mission, week by week, you have to try
and think of a new way to start your letter, not to mention think up a
new subject line. The longer you've been out, the fewer ideas you
have. And even though it doesn't matter too much it always seems to be
a barrier to actually getting started on giving an update about the
week.

Speaking of my week, it was awesome! Time is still flying! The biggest
news of the week is that Ivan, one of our investigators accepted the
invitation to be baptized and is preparing to get baptized on the 5th
of August! Ivan is 11 and has been wanting to get baptized for a while
now. His dad is a less active brother from Mexico, but Ivan is just
starting to learn Spanish, having grown up with his mom in Russia. So,
we teach him in Spanglish. :) he's amazing. He prays and reads every
day and has spiritual experiences doing it! It's awesome!

Anndddd, Im out of time. But I love all of you! Everything is going
great here! I'll write more next week!

Love,
Elder Baxter

We taught a primary class about missionary work this week!

Service, helping a member clean her walls for painting!

We went golfing last week! Almost a year ago that day I forgot to put the foot brake on the golf cart and it rolled backward into his bridge and knocked off this stone :) good memories!

At service waiting for transfer calls :)
